Course: Valley Station Chairlift (Start) ➔ Latscher Alm ➔ Töbrunn ➔ Moaregg ➔ Fischersteig (No. 12) ➔ Morterer Alm (Destination & highest point) ➔ Return via the same route ➔ Valley Station
This alpine hike takes you through the dense, pleasantly cool forests of the Tarsch mountain slope. You start at the valley station of the Tarsch chairlift. From here, hike along the forest road up through the dense forest to the scenic Latscher Alm (1,715 m) and continue to the idyllic clearing of Töbrunn (1,718 m). Shortly past Töbrunn, forest road No. 12 branches off to the left heading west. Follow this road uphill for about 20 minutes until it ends near Moaregg (1,780 m). At Moaregg, switch to the rustic Fischersteig trail (Path No. 12). This beautiful, pristine mountain path leads you on a gentle but steady 45-minute climb through alpine landscapes up to the cozy Morterer Alm (1,980 m). After a well-deserved break and enjoying the fresh mountain air, return to the starting point along the same route.
