Course: Café Hölderle (Start, 1,450 m) ➔ Trail No. 4 (Steep climb) ➔ Soyalm Hut (Destination & highest point, 2,000 m) ➔ Descent via same route ➔ Café Hölderle

A brisk forest climb to an idyllic alpine pasture on the slopes of the Val Martello. Drive into the Martello Valley to Café Hölderle (1,450 m), located about 2 km past the village of Gand right along the main valley road (parking available). Start your hike right at the café by joining Trail No. 4. From the very beginning, the path ascends steadily and somewhat steeply through the mountain forest. With every step, you leave the valley below behind. Eventually, the forest opens up to reveal the beautifully situated Soyalm (2,000 m). After a well-deserved break and traditional meal on the sunny terrace, return to the starting point along the same route.
