Tips: Despite its moderate altitude, this summit ridge offers an unobstructed, 360-degree panorama of the mighty Cevedale peaks and the turquoise waters of Lake Gioveretto below! Where to eat: Enzianhütte Refuge (located right at the start/finish), Lyfi Alm (accessible via a short detour)

Course: Enzianhütte Parking (Start, 2,051 m) ➔ Lyfi Alm Junction / Stream Crossing ➔ Trail No. 8 ➔ Peder Stier Alm (2,252 m) ➔ Trail No. 39 ➔ Trail No. 33 ➔ Pederköpfl Summit (Highest point, 2,585 m) ➔ Descent Trail No. 20 ➔ Turn left across Pederbach Stream ➔ Enzianhütte Refuge (Destination)

A scenic loop across alpine pastures and mountain trails to a magnificent vantage point. From the parking lot at the Enzianhütte refuge (2,051 m), walk back along the road for about 200 meters to the signposted turnoff toward "Lyfi Alm". Follow the path across the Pederbach stream. Shortly after crossing the stream, branch left onto Trail No. 8, climbing through the shaded mountain forest up to the Peder Stier Alm pasture (2,252 m). Continue on Trail No. 39, which eventually joins Trail No. 33. Turn left and follow this path up across open alpine terrain directly to the summit cross of Pederköpfl (2,585 m). Enjoy your summit picnic with breathtaking views over Lake Gioveretto and the glaciers of Martello. From the summit, continue in the same direction, descending along Trail No. 20. Keep an eye out for a path branching off to the left: this trail leads you down into the gully, where you cross the Pederbach stream once more. On the other side of the stream, follow the direct path back to your starting point at the Enzianhütte.
