A scenic mountain farm trail high above the Venosta Valley with rich local history. Drive from Lasa up to the small mountain hamlet of Allitz (1,100 m, parking available). On foot, follow the quiet mountain road up to sunny Tanas, reaching the churchyard (1,256 m). Above the junction, branch right off the road and walk into the Gadria Valley until you reach the historic Rimpf farmstead (Rimpfhof). From Rimpf, the trail climbs in a wide easterly arc. Passing the beautifully situated Feilegg farmstead (1,560 m), you traverse the characteristic, arid slopes of the Sonnenberger Leiten. Eventually, you will reach the historic Matatsch farm ruins (1,512 m). From Matatsch, switch to Trail No. 15A, which descends steadily heading west, taking you directly back to your starting point in Allitz.
