A demanding high-alpine loop from the Tablander Alm to crystal-clear tarns below the Beilspitze. From Ciardes, drive across the Adige bridge following signs for Tomberg up to the Schartegg hiking parking lot (1,490 m). From there, follow the gentle forest road to the Tablander Alm pasture (1,768 m). At the hut, take Trail No. 5 and later switch to Trail No. 18A. The path climbs steeply via the "Tröglan" area into high alpine terrain, eventually reaching the stunning Lake Plombodon (Plombodensee, 2,768 m) – the highest point of the tour. From the lake plateau, head west on Trail No. 18A below the towering Beilspitze peak (Beilstoan). Begin your descent down into the breathtaking Zirmtal valley, reaching the cozy Zirmtaler Alm (2,114 m) set beside the crystal-clear Zirmtal lake. Continue descending on Trail No. 18 to the historic Alt Alm (1,841 m), then follow the alpine path back to the Schartegg parking lot.
