Since most of the trail runs through the shady forest, this hike remains pleasantly cool even on hot Summer days. Where to eat: Hofschank Unterschwarzplatz (traditional South Tyrolean farm cuisine with great views), Gasthaus Zollwies (near the start/finish area), numerous places to eat in the nearby town center of Naturno

Course: Naturno (Start) ➔ Entrance Reflection Trail ➔ Kellerbach Gorge ➔ Hofschank Unterschwarzplatz (highest point) ➔ Monte Tramontana ➔ Naturno (Destination)

This circular hike on the shady slopes of the Monte Tramontana leads you through dense forests along the Kellerbach stream. The trail is lined with 14 beautifully and artistically designed stations that invite you to pause and enjoy the tranquility – also ideal on warmer days. From the town center of Naturno, walk along the Bahnhofstraße heading towards the sports grounds. About 150 meters past the Zollwies Inn, you will spot the eye-catching entrance gate on the left side of the road, marking the beginning of the Reflection Trail. Follow the historic hiking path, which winds slowly uphill and downhill through the idyllic forest on the alluvial cone of the Kellerbach stream. The hike reaches its highest point near the wonderfully situated Unterschwarzplatz farm tavern. From here, the trail turns back downhill. Navigating several bends, the shady path leads you relaxed back to the starting point or to the paved road on the Monte Tramontana, from where you can easily return to the center of Naturno.
